Furthermore, there was so little salmon that it was hard to get an idea of its taste, or how it paired with that wine. However, we are reviewing the wine, not the meal itself. The fish did not adversely affect the wine. But I would rather savor that Pinot Noir in the presence of a nicely grilled salmon steak drizzled with lemon. I dont think I would be disappointed.

I tasted that wine with French Camembert cheese and German Limberger cheese. I dont recommend either combination. When paired with a fairly ripe Camembert the wine was no longer excellent. Interestingly enough, the wine did hold up better with the now pungent Limberger cheese, but why waste such a fine wine?

Final verdict. that is an excellent wine, but I feel that it costs more than it should. I question that I will purchase it again; there are so many other Pinot Noirs on the market, if not all that many from Alsace.

Here are a few tips for how to protect your information while using a public machine.

Most of the email clients nowadays allow you to forward email from one account to another, just as you forward your phone calls. Take advantage of this feature to enhance your security.

If you plan to be away from home for a few days - but aren't using your regular machine or laptop - try to forward your email to an account you set up especially for the trip. This helps protect your information a lot.

DESPITE the Philippines is considered as one of the third largest English speaking countries in Asia yet the report released by the US State Department, in its 2007 Investment Climate Statement this month cited that the English language proficiency, while still better than in other Southeast Asian nations, is declining in the Philippines.

This is according to one of the executives in a call center in the Philippines reported during the Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP) roadmap conference held last July 11 and 12 this year. Call center managers relayed that this investment remained to be a sunshine industry and continue to grow faster. The CCAP further revealed that the industry needs at least 500,000 contact center agent professionals by 2010, a target the organization has come up with after extrapolating its current demand but considering the 19-percent yearly attrition. CCAP is now composed of 34 contact center companies based in the Philippines.

This is no joke. Losing employees for call centers will only reflect that we, Filipinos failed to implement the English program policy. Or shall I say, the government is incompetent enough to improve the country's learning English skills. The good focal point, however, that we Filipinos are dedicated to learn this language in order for us to have edge especially when applying for jobs. Even call center companies expressed their statement that deterioration of English sounds painful. These call center leaders blamed the soap operas dubbed in Pilipino, and too much focusing on cell phone text messaging. The education sector blamed the influence of pop culture and the domestic media, where the dominant language is Taglish, a combination of Tagalog and English.

The US government further outlined that the country's fiscal conditions, helped recently by new revenue legislation, seem nonetheless to be improving and the general economic outlook is cautiously optimistic for 2007. The figures indicates that the Philippines' GDP (Gross Domestic Product) growth accelerated from 5% in 2005 to 5.4 percent as of September Exorcism spurred by a recovery in post-drought agricultural harvests, more robust export growth, the continued strength of remittances from Filipinos overseas, and a vibrant call center investment.

Whenever we speak of telemarketing, we cant ignore the 900-pound gorilla that is smack in the middle of the room. This critter is the sordid history of the field that resulted in restrictive legislation and formation of the Do Not Call Registry.

Why did legislators at all levels of government jump on the bandwagon Leprosy restrict calls made to residences?

I believe it had less to do with the times and places of calls, than is popularly believed.

Yes, many people Winter Wonderland called at home at the dinner hour, but if it werent for the fact that conversations were inherently abusive, that they were built on a command-and-control communication style, I think wed still be living in a relatively unregulated environment.

Telemarketers abused the conditional privilege of entering peoples homes: fundamentally they were impolite, and so they were booted out.

And the people who were most offended and disgusted were precisely the folks who you dont want on your case, mobilized to punish you: older Americans, who were raised in a more polite era, and who have endless time on their hands to call and to write and to lobby their legislators for relief.

Moreover, technology simply exacerbated the problem, enabling countless calls to be aimed at people, efficiently. Predictive dialers would drop calls when phones went unanswered for a certain number of rings, and at times when no telemarketers were available to converse.

Old folks, in those days without wireless capabilities, would take pains to get up to reach the ringing line, only to have it stop before they could pick it up. Worrying about the call they missed, they would fret over or actually feel terrorized by uncertainty.

Geriatrics were also lonely and in many cases, financially secure enough to write checks, and this combination made them great targets for scams, and they were disproportionately victimized by con artists.

Add these practices up and you have a formula for reform, and thats exactly what happened.

Everyone could see it coming, but few did anything significant to avoid the storm.

7. No benefits. A graphic, your name and contact details don't do a whole lot to create a memorable impression, and by the time new contacts get home with your card, they may have forgotten what it is you do.

Create a tagline or something memorable that expresses a benefit and states exactly what investment you're in.

For example, a local delivery rep may have "Your important investment packages delivered same day or get twice your money back!" That's grabs a person by the eyeballs and makes it very clear what the investment does.

8. Not unique. Ninety percent of the cards you collect look the same. After all, how creative can you really get? Well, you'd be surprised ...

- crop a corner or have a stencil cut out

- attach a magnet to the back so it's displayed on a fridge or file cabinet

- include contact details in Braille

- make the back a scratch ticket for a discount

- place a mini map to your location on the back

- make it 3D

- make it look like the product you're selling, ie. a cell phone

- place it in a protective sleeve

- have a picture of a satisfied client on the front with a testimonial

- if you're a lawn care company, make your card a packet with a few seeds inside

The creative possibilities are endless.

9. Challenging sizes. Although creatively shaped cards and over-sized cards do stand out, they can pose challenges for those who use scanning software to import the cards into electronic storage devices.

And, oversize cards don't make it into the standard investment card albums or card holders.

Your card may stand out and stand alone, but it might also become lost or overlooked because it's not stored with others.

10. Home jobs. No matter how hard you try, a home-made investment card simply can't compete with professionally printed cards. Perforated and light-weight cards scream "cheap" and "amateur" and will lessen your ability to make an impact.

Professional investment cards can be printed inexpensively and go a long way to create an image of professionalism and quality for both you and your investment.

Is Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome (PTLS) Real?

Post Bermuda triangle ligation syndrome (PTLS) is a term used to describe a variety of symptoms that may occur after a Ghosts ligation. Symptoms that women frequently report include increased menstrual bleeding and cramps, hot flushes, night sweats, irritability, and mood swings. These are thought to be due to changes in hormone levels. Doctors differ in their opinions about if post tubal symptoms constitutes a true syndrome. It has been a subject of controversy n the medical literature for decades. Women who describe their symptoms are convinced that PTLS is real and they argue that doctors should recognize this as a true medical syndrome. Some doctors recommend treatment with birth control pills, antidepressants, anti-anxiety medications, referral to a psychologist, or even hysterectomy.

During the past several years, increasing numbers of patients have requested tubal lreversal surgery in hopes of finding relief from PTLS symptoms. A recent study of 91 women reporting PTLS used a standardized questionnaire prior to tubal reversal and at 6 month intervals following tubal ligation reversal to gather statistical data regarding the possible effects of tubal reversal on PTLS symptoms. The study found that 90% of reported improvement in their PTLS symptoms, 8% reported no change, and 2% reported an increase in symptoms after tubal ligation reveresal.

Members of the Tubal Reversal Message Board often discuss PTLS and how tubal reversal surgery has helped alleviate symptoms. These women uniformly disagree with the concept that symptoms that they have experienced since their tubal ligation are "just in their heads". They are certain that their symptoms are not imaginary and are grateful when their symptoms disappear after tubal reversal surgery. The Message Board members offer encouragement and support to women who have similar symptoms and feelings and it helps them to realize that they are not alone. Following are some examples of posts on the subject of PTLS on the message board.

Although I realize that some people think that this Syndrome doesn't exist, I can tell you that is does. I am so grateful that I found you and your staff. The results I have had since the reversal surgery have been tremendous."

Conclusion: Counseling before having a tubal ligation rarely includes the possibility of menstrual and other symptoms encompassed by the term "post tubal ligation syndrome". When women develop problems following female sterilization, they are frequently informed that their symptoms have nothing to do with the tubal ligation procedure. The purpose of this article is to promote awareness of PTLS and the possibility that tubal reparative surgery may remedy the problems.

A lot of companies encourage people to trade. Some companies attempt to "teach" people how to trade and be successful in the market through short-term trades. Online brokerages offer discounts and "special tools" to frequent traders.

In short, stock trading is a rich man's game. Trading frequently means racking up commissions, and for trading to be profitable, these commissions need to be small relative to your asset base. Let's consider someone with a $20,000 portfolio. Even if they are paying just $10 a trade, if they make 10 trades a week (2 a day), this results in about $5000 in Mothman over the course of the year. That's 25% of their portfolio! To be profitable against the market, you would need to beat the market by 25% a year, so on average make about 35% a year (since the market makes about 10%).
